SYNOPSIS:
Taiwan is a multicultural society, and temples are the center of folk belief. Among them, temple painting is a traditional folk art that is very close to people. However, due to the passage of time and the development of science and technology, there is a distance between it and the general public. This animation tells the story of a boy who, under the influence of his father, pursues his dream to become a temple painter with his good friend Xiaolong, reinterpreting the richness and beauty of Taiwan’s temple painting and traditional techniques. It is hoped that it can attract people’s attention to traditional skills, thereby improving cultural literacy and realizing the vision of sustainable cultural inheritance.
