Communications Manager
We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a 4 months voluntary position and in this role, the job holder will be responsible for managing our digital platforms, including the website, social media accounts, email and other dissemination channels.

JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a 4 months voluntary position and in this role, the job holder will be responsible for managing our digital platforms, including the website, social media accounts, email and other dissemination channels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the forum director to align on communication strategies and establish a clear vision for content production.
- Design and implement the communication strategy across all media channels.
- Create diverse media content such as reports, case studies, success and field stories, videos, photos, and other materials for public dissemination to enhance awareness of our work.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials and documentation to support fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and program initiatives.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build partnerships programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
- Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials.
- Prepare detailed media activity reports and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies.
- Collaborate with different departments to generate new ideas and strategies.
- Supervise projects to ensure all content is publication-ready.
- Create communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions.
- Lead the marketing and public relations staff.
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Master’s degree in Mass Communication / Journalism or other related fields.
- 3–5 years of working experience in Communications or Marketing departments.
- Must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills.
- Software Skills Desired – WordPress, MailChimp or similar email service provider; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other CMS tools.
- Ability to manage time, deliverables and meet deadlines.

We are seeking an experienced Partnerships Manager based in Melbourne, Australia to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a 4 months voluntary position and in this role, the job holder will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships to advance the Forum’s objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on developing high-quality proposals, grant applications and concept notes for identified funding opportunities, with a focus that supports the organization’s mission in film, culture, and knowledge-sharing.
- Monitor, report and optimize partnership performance, addressing and resolving issues as they arise, assessing possible solutions and executing those solutions.
- Initiate and strengthen networks with project partners while expanding our partnership portfolio.
- Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with our policies.
- Collaborate with different departments to generate new ideas and strategies.
- Work closely with the programme team to gather necessary information for proposal development and reporting.
- Engage with policymakers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to promote the forum’s mission and objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for donors and stakeholders, detailing program impact and financial accountability.
- Ensure effective and efficient management of all donor accounts, including timely submission of reports and audits.
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Master’s degree in Public Relations or other related fields.
- 3–5 years of working experience with a proven track record of initiating, managing, and maintaining successful partnerships, especially in the non-profit, arts, or cultural sectors.

- Develop new programmes and initiatives to advance the forum’s strategic goals.
- Approve project expenditures and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Ensure projects comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify funding opportunities and write grant proposals.
- Design an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure goals are achieved in areas such as stakeholder engagement, program quality, and team performance.

We are seeking an experienced Researcher based in the United States, to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a 4-month voluntary position, and in this role, the job holder will be responsible for conducting research in film, culture, education, and knowledge-sharing, supporting project development, and ensuring alignment with the forum’s mission.

JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced Researcher based in the United States, to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a 4-month voluntary position, and in this role, the job holder will be responsible for conducting research in film, culture, education, and knowledge-sharing, supporting project development, and ensuring alignment with the forum’s mission.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement clinical research studies, including protocol development and ethical approvals that aligns with our focus.
- Conduct thorough research to support project implementation, and prepare documents such as project proposals, progress reports, film screening plans, content briefs, research papers, and promotional materials for events and collaborations that align with the organization’s mission in film, culture, and knowledge-sharing.
- Recruit and screen study participants, ensuring compliance with study protocols.
- Collect, manage, and analyze clinical data using statistical software.
- Prepare and submit research findings for publication in scientific journals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and research institutions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical standards in clinical research.
- Conduct research on relevant topics for the forum’s social media content, providing insights that can be transformed into bite-sized videos for engagement and awareness.
- Communicate with the team on project implementation and timelines, as necessary.
- Establish and organize collaboration with research partners (e.g. universities, NGOs and other partners).
- Bi-weekly update on activity progress.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in Economics, Communication or related development field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within an NGO or international development organization.
- Prior knowledge and experience in research and research methodology.
- Ideal candidate should be a critical thinker with initiative, high capacity for independent effort and high professionalism to join our research team.
- Must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time, deliverables and meet deadlines.
