FOR AUSTRALIAN (MELBOURNE) BASED ACTORS ONLY.

The NGO International Film Festival is casting four actors for the 20-minute, text-based performance ‘The Day That Would Change Margot Robbie’s Life Forever’ by the critically acclaimed Danish playwright, director, and filmmaker Christian Lollike. The performance will open the NGO International Film Festival at the Treasury Theatre in Melbourne on October 14, 2024. The script is written specially for this occasion.

The performance stages a discussion between four characters, A, B, C, and D, trying to imagine a future beyond ecological disaster by making a movie starring Margot Robbie. In a satirical and self-reflexive tone, the performance engages with the themes of the NGO International Film Festival’s, including ecological protection, Indigenous knowledge, and immigration. The audition welcomes people of all backgrounds, hoping to present a diverse cast.
