JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a 4 months voluntary position and in this role, the job holder will be responsible for managing our digital platforms, including the website, social media accounts, email and other dissemination channels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the forum director to align on communication strategies and establish a clear vision for content production.
- Design and implement the communication strategy across all media channels.
- Create diverse media content such as reports, case studies, success and field stories, videos, photos, and other materials for public dissemination to enhance awareness of our work.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials and documentation to support fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and program initiatives.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build partnerships programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
- Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials.
- Prepare detailed media activity reports and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies.
- Collaborate with different departments to generate new ideas and strategies.
- Supervise projects to ensure all content is publication-ready.
- Create communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions.
- Lead the marketing and public relations staff.
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Master’s degree in Mass Communication / Journalism or other related fields.
- 3–5 years of working experience in Communications or Marketing departments.
- Must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills.
- Software Skills Desired – WordPress, MailChimp or similar email service provider; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other CMS tools.
- Ability to manage time, deliverables and meet deadlines.
Kindly note that this is a volunteer position for a duration of 4 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time contract thereafter. We will begin interviews for this position immediately. Submit resume and cover letter to [email protected].

Role Overview:
THENGOIFKF is seeking a highly organized Administrative Officer to support the smooth functioning of our programs and operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative roles, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. Strong communication skills are an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily administrative operations and office systems remotely
- Organize schedules, meetings, and communications across teams and stakeholders
- Support project documentation, reporting, and record-keeping
- Coordinate logistics for events, workshops, and online campaigns
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain digital filing systems, databases, and operational records
- Provide general support to the team to ensure smooth workflow and program delivery
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative or office management roles
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools
- Ability to work independently, remotely, and collaboratively with a diverse team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Kenya-based and available to resume immediately
